Ruby's Sing Along is the 12th episode of the third season of Max & Ruby.
Plot
Ruby wants to sing and play the piano at the same time for a talent show. Ruby doesn't think Max's wind-up toy animals can sing, until they help out with a song called "Max and Ruby Had a Farm", which is sung to the tune of "Old MacDonald Had A Farm".
Synopsis
Ruby plays her piano with her exercises until she sees Max beside her. Ruby wants to practise her piano for the talent show. Louise plays her violin, Valerie plays her recorder, and Martha plans her valley dance (or occasionally ballet dance). Ruby wants to play the piano and sing at the same time, which takes practice. She asks Max if he wants to be in the talent show, too. And Max nods his head. Max wants to sing but he cannot decide and neither can Ruby. She looks for the song "Twinkle, twinkle, little star". As she is about to play it, Max’s toy puppy interrupts her.
Ruby wants Max to find a quiet toy to play with while she practises piano and Yappy Puppy is nothing more than a loud toy. She asks what Max think of the song for the talent show, and plays the piano again. But Max’s puppy interrupts her again. Max says that his puppy can sing. But Ruby doesn’t think so. She decides to try this again without Max’s puppy interrupting her. As she was so close, Max’s duck interrupts her again. Ruby is trying to practise the song, but it is too hard to do it with all those noises. Max thinks his duck can sing, but Ruby tells him that they quack and it is not the same thing. She really wants a little help with practising. If she does not find the right song too soon, she would not have time to practice it for her talent show.
Ruby eventually changes the song to “Mary had a Little Lamb” (even though the song twinkle twinkle little star is too sleepy time). However, she changes it to “Ruby had a Little Lamb”. She thinks that everyone likes songs better whenever someone personalizes them. When Ruby plays her song, Roly Poly Pig interrupts her. Ruby told Max that this is not "Ruby had a Little Pig". She tries the song again but, as she is so close, all of Max’s toy animals are interrupting her.
Ruby finally knows the song with a lot of farm animals, and Max can even be in it. They can also personalize the song. Later on, Ruby and Louise come into Max and Ruby's house for the talent show. Ruby plays “Max and Ruby had a farm”. They start with a puppy, then a duck, and then a pig. After the song, Louise and Valerie clap for Ruby. Ruby shows them how well as Max’s toy animals can sing. The animals continued playing and making sounds loudly as the episode ends.

- Max and Ruby Had a Farm is the answer to Ruby's Clues, which is a reference to Blue's starring Steve originally, or in the future, Joe.
- When Ruby says "oink", what she means is "snort" for steam shovel reasons.
